#1 guy

last night, my boo surprised me while i was at a church ministry team meeting. He drove all the way from chicago/indiana (3.5hrs drive) in the middle of his week of work, just to be here with me for a couple hours, to comfort me while i was going through a hard time. Lately, i've been going through a mini-depression because of this whole long distance situation. I was doing okay before, but after the last time I saw him about a 1.5week ago, it was extremely difficult for some reason. I missed him incredibly; (not to sound like a cheesy line in a boyband song but...) i missed him so much that it actually hurt. Well, he saw how depressed I was getting, so he came to surprise me and to just be with me. And you know what? it definitely helped.
And you know what else? I realized even more how lucky i am to have a guy like him. I don't think any other guy can come close. I always thought that only the first couple months of dating was the phase where you feel like you're incredible in love with this person and are just head over heels for them. But this guy... he has taught me what true love is, what deep love is. So i can confidently and gladly say that even after 1.33 years of dating we are both in love with each other more than ever before.

So sweetie, you are not just MY #1 guy, but THE #1 guy!
